The contract for the Picture Archiving and Communication System at the University Hospital-Sharjah was recently signed with Philips Healthcare IT. This will provide a state-of-the-art system for the Hospital and will be integrated with the other Health Information Systems throughout the Hospital. This followed lengthy discussions and negotiations and a  market testing exercise by the Hospital including a significant input by senior Radiologists.
