David De Cristo, the governor of Victoria State in Australia, and a top level delegation visited the College of Medicine at the University of Sharjah, accompanied by Prof. Husam Al Din Hamdi, Vice Chancellor for the Medical Colleges and Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Nabil Sulaiman, Head of Family & Community Medicine and Behavioral Sciences at the College and Mr. Khalid Alraboy, Head of Public Relations Department at the University in presence of Prof. Peter Longmore - Chief Medical Officer / Project Technical Director -  Sharjah Teaching Hospital.

The delegation looked into methods of medical study at the College of Medicine. They visited the medical laboratories of the college. The college maintains scientific agreements and collaborations with some well-known Australian universities.

Dr. Nabil commented on the visit that came to strengthen the relations between the University and scientific institutes in Victoria State in addition to view the latest developments in Sharjah Teaching Hospital at UoS.
