We take pride in our Endoscopy Unit that is equipped with the latest devices for upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), including emergency procedures and management of gastrointestinal bleeding.

The removal of polyps by means of a medical procedure is known as polypectomy. Polyps are the abnormal tissue growth in the Gasterointestinal tract.

Pancreatitis is a disease caused due to the inflammation of the pancreas.The symptoms of chronic pancreatitis is vomiting, nausea, abdomen pain, fatty stool, sudden weight loss and shortness of breath.

Pancreas is an organ located in the abdomen. The main functions of the Pancreas are to maintain the exocrine and endocrine activities of the body. The pancreas plays  a major role in converting the food intaken into energy.

Endoscopy is a procedure to examine the gastrointestinal tract using an instrument called the Endoscope. Endoscope is a thin flexible tube fitted with light and camera at one end. It is a diagnostic tool which helps in the diagnosis of conditions in the upper gastrointestinal tract.

Colonoscopy is done using an instrument called the Colonoscope. It is a thin long flexible tube with camera fitted at one end and the procedure is done to screen the large intestine of the patient.

A long and flexible slender tube is attached to a video camera and monitor, and the entire colon is captured on a screen. This helps to detect suspicious areas from where biopsies (tissue samples) can be taken for analysis using surgical tools passed through the tube.
