Continuing Medical Education (CME)
CME is designed for physicians and healthcare professionals in medical practice. It aims to maintain, develop, and enhance knowledge, skills, and professional performance.
Types of CME Activities and CPD Points:
- Conferences and Workshops: Educational sessions on specialized medical topics (e.g., cardiology, neurology, surgery) where participants earn CPD points.
- Medical Seminars and Grand Rounds: Regular discussions of case studies, research, and new techniques that contribute to CME points.
- Webinars and Online Courses: Remote learning platforms offering specialized courses such as advanced trauma life support or infectious disease management.
- Research Presentations and Journal Clubs: Engaging in research discussions and medical literature reviews in group settings.

How CME Provides CPD Points:

- Full-day conferences may offer up to 8-10 CME points.
Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)
