PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Has Over 20 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist, specializing in Echocardiography and diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization for congenital heart defects.
  • Active member of several prestigious organizations, including the World Heart Association and the World Health Organization (WHO) for the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
  • Has extensive academic background, having held faculty positions at the University of Khartoum and served as a Professor at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah.
  • She has 110 research papers published in local and international periodicals
  • Recipient of prestigious awards, including the Visiting Professor Award from the American Heart Association (George Washington University School of Medicine & National Children's Hospital, USA), the WHO Award in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention, and the World Heart Federation Advocacy Award.
