Has more than 17 years of specialized experience in Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology. Served as a Consultant at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals and previously at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust, UK. Actively involved in laboratory-based research, with a focus on infectious diseases, epidemiological studies, and clinical trials. Holds memberships in leading professional bodies, including the International Society of Infectious Diseases, British Infection Association, British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, and EpiCore Infectious Diseases Surveillance Network. He also serves as a Pathology Council Member at the Manchester Medical Society and is a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) Pathway Assessor.
