Tojan Adel Mahmoud Has more than 8 years of experience in the different clinical areas of practice, Worked in JCI accredited hospitals in Jordan & UAE in the Nursing domain Since 2014, she started her participation in the education field as a clinical instructor & research assistant in academic university - Jordan Started her career as Diabetes Nurse Educator in 2018 at University Hospital Sharjah As DNE, she provides Diabetes education to outpatients and inpatients with a different type of diabetes, as she is up to date with the national and international guidelines relating to the prevention and management of diabetes, and applying these to different clinical situations Participated with her team in providing an educational materials & tools that enrich her patients with knowledge about Diabetes self-management, insulin titration guide  Provides advice on diabetes management, improving patient quality of life, and ultimately preventing and delaying Diabetes-related complications Certified as glucose sensor trainer and she also facilitates education classes and provides support for community screenings & campaigns Certified as a Pump Trainer, also she is competent in handling continuous glucose monitoring systems available within the field  Participated in research studies for academic purposes & clinical trials as a researcher Nurse and studies coordinator
