UHS celebrated World Breastfeeding Week 2024 to raise community awareness about the importance of breastfeeding for both the child and the mother, and the significance of developing workplace environments to support women in breastfeeding their children.
A team from the University Hospital Sharjah participated in a health event organized by Sharjah Economic Development Department. The participation included providing a range of medical examinations and specialized nutritional consultations on various dietary systems.

Dr. Khalifa Al Nuaimi, the Executive Director of University Hospital Sharjah, visited the College of Health Sciences, where he was welcomed by Dean Professor Mohammed Al-Amin. The visit aimed to discuss ways to develop the Physical Therapy Department at University Hospital Sharjah and to enhance academic and practical collaboration between the hospital and the college.
Dr. Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the University Hospital Sharjah, welcomed H.E. Yoo Jeh Seung, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea. During the visit, the ambassador was given a comprehensive tour of the Himchan Center, specializing in spine and joint surgery, where he was introduced to the latest technologies and advanced medical services provided by the center at University Hospital Sharjah.
