Obtain a double French board in pediatrics from the University of Rennes and neonatology from the University of Nancy

British Board Certified in General Medicine and also the French Board Certified

Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics, UK

Holds a certificate of completion of his specialist training in pediatrics entirely from the United Kingdom

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Held senior positions in Caen University Hospital (France), King Fand University Hospital (University of King Faisal, Saudi Arabia) and worked in many UK prestigious hospitals including the University College of London Hospital (UCLH), Aberdeen, Birmingham, and Exeter before joining University Hospital Sharjah (UHS) in March 2010

Actively involved in teaching medical students, pediatric residents, and fellows in neonatal-perinatal medicine as Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Sharjah

Associated as lecturer at Caen University (France) and as Assistant Professor at King Faisal University

His research has been published internationally, with 35 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals 

Was speaker or chairperson in more than 40 international and national conferences and symposia

Certified Examiner with the Paediatric Royal College, UK

Treatment of high-risk and complex medical conditions in newborns, including premature birth (23 weeks gestation) and prematurity babies weighing (500 grams or more)

Treatment of complications of premature labor such as complex labor and delivery, severe prematurity, complications of pregnancy, labor, childbirth

Treatment of chronic lung diseases

Problems with poor growth

Respiratory distress syndrome

Heart disease

Immaturity of the skin and eyes

Incomplete digestive system and the nervous system growth

Congenital birth defects

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
