Launch of the National Hypertension Awareness Campaign

University Hospital Sharjah, in collaboration with its strategic partner Sharjah Health Authority, organized the launch ceremony of the National Hypertension Awareness Campaign. This initiative is part of the UAE's ongoing efforts to promote public health and raise community awareness of chronic diseases, with a particular focus on high blood pressure, one of the leading risk factors for heart disease and strokes. A series of awareness activities and events were launched targeting various segments of the community, emphasizing the importance of early detection and adopting a healthy lifestyle to prevent complications from hypertension. The campaign's activities will continue across multiple locations in the Emirate of Sharjah.
