University Hospital Sharjah team participated in the Career Fair Eventat the College of Health Sciences at the University of Sharjah, which aims to bring together professionals, students, graduates, and healthcare partners in one place to foster connections and explore training opportunities, available job opportunities, discuss career paths, and become familiar with the official procedures for obtaining a professional license from the main health authorities in the UAE.

World Hand Hygiene Day 2024

 University Hospital Sharjah celebrated World Hand Hygiene Day 2024 on the 6th of May with a slogan from the World Health Organization, “Why is sharing knowledge about hand hygiene still so important? Because it helps stop the spread of harmful germs in health care.”

Health, Safety, and Environment Conference

Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Oil Council, inaugurated the "Health, Safety, and Environment Conference," which witnessed the participation of the University Hospital in Sharjah in cooperation with the Sharjah Health Authority. Dr. Khadija Al Zarouni, a family medicine consultant and aviation medical examiner, presented a presentation on the conference topic, while the hospital team provided a range of medical screenings for attendees

  • Dr. Alalkim is a Consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology with extensive experience in diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide range of liver and gastrointestinal conditions. Her comprehensive training includes two prestigious fellowships: one in Gastroenterology at McMaster University and another in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at the University of British Columbia. As well as her experience working as specialist registrar at John Radcliffe Hospital at the University of Oxford.
